Saco Technology does not collect personal information about individual users except when such personal information is provided to Saco Technology on a voluntary basis. Such personal information may be gathered by

• a contest or sweepstakes registration,
• the registration process for subscription services and in connection with content submissions,
• postings in discussion areas or other public areas,
• suggestions or voting/polling activities and
• transactional areas.

No personal information about individual users will be sold or otherwise transferred to any third parties without the approval of the user, except that Saco Technology reserves the right to disclose such personal information:

1. to its affiliates, subsidiaries and third party agents for purposes related to credit and collection, marketing and services and products offered by Saco Technology, its affiliates and subsidiaries, provided the information is required for, and is to be used only for such purposes;

2. if such disclosure is made pursuant to a requirement or request of a government agency, court order or other legal proceeding or otherwise required by law.

The user may request to decline receiving promotional and/or marketing information from Saco Technology. Notwithstanding the user's wish to cease receiving such promotional and/or marketing information, Saco Technology reserves the right to contact a user regarding account status, changes to the user's service agreement and other matters relevant to the underlying service and/or the personal information collected.

Saco Technology reserves the right to conduct statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the Saco Technology web site and to provide advertisers with information such as the number of users that have been exposed to or clicked on their advertising banners. Saco Technology will provide only aggregated data from these analyses to third parties. Also, users are advised that Saco Technology may permit third parties to offer subscription and/or registration-based services through the Saco Technology web site. Saco Technology is not responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties and users should check the applicable privacy policy of each such third party when providing personal information. Saco Technology is also not responsible for any actions of any third party sites which users access through the Saco Technology web site and users are responsible for checking the applicable privacy policy of such third party sites.
Users should also be aware that when personal information is voluntarily disclosed (i.e. user name, e-mail address, etc.) in the discussion areas or other public areas of the Saco Technology web site, that information, along with any information disclosed in the user's communication, can be collected and used by third parties and may result in unsolicited messages from third parties. Such activities are beyond the control of Saco Technology.

Users also should be aware that non-personal information (your IP number, your browser type, the page you requested and your operating system) and data may be automatically collected through the standard operation of Saco Technology's internet servers or through the use of "cookies". "Cookies" are small text files that are used by web sites to: (a) recognise repeat users; (b) track usage behavior; and (c) compile aggregate data that will permit content improvements and targeted advertising. Users should be aware that Saco Technology cannot control or prevent the use of cookies or any information obtained through such cookies by advertisers or third parties. If a user does not want information collected through the use of cookies, most browsers permit the user to disable the cookie feature. However, users are advised that cookies may be required for the use of certain features on the Saco Technology web site. Saco Technology does not collect any personal information by using Cookies.
At the user's request, Saco Technology will: (a) allow a user to decline receiving further electronic advertising from Saco Technology at any time; (b) provide a user with reasonable access to his or her information that is in Saco Technology 's records; and (c) use reasonable efforts to allow such user to update/correct personal information which the user states is incorrect to the extent such updating/correction will not compromise Saco Technology 's privacy or security interests, subject to the understanding that it may be impossible to completely delete a user's information without some residual information being stored because of backups.

Any submissions to discussion areas or other public areas on the Saco Technology web site are accepted with the understanding that they are accessible to all third parties. If a user does not want his or her comments to be viewed by third parties, the user is advised not to make any submissions. Saco Technology reserves the right to change this privacy policy at any time by notifying users of the existence of a new privacy policy.
